Starting my freshman year at Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh. This is the view that greeted me from the plane.
This is what happens when the dorm’s dryer doesn’t work.
A student kept pulling false alarms and each time the Fire Department responded. Each false alarm came with a fine of 450 pounds.
